At the Grove Healing Center, we have three Acupuncturists who have done over 1,000 hours of clinical work, have Bachelor’s degrees in Nutrition and Master’s Degrees in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
How does it work?
Acupuncture works in a few ways; it stimulates the nervous system since most if not all acupuncture points are located on or near nerve bifurcations. So we are modulating and balancing the nervous system, which is so important in our modern high-stress lifestyles. It also brings blood and qi to the area, and since blood is the healing fluid of the body, it can nourish and heal the area directly. And the qi is the energy that runs the system, so bringing qi to the area ensures adequate energy supply for the healing work.
